Windham and Blake Receive USCAA All-American Selections

Bluefield, WV- The USCAA has announced their 2016-2017 All-American's for Men's and Women's basketball and two of your Big Blues were selected as members of the team. Joshua Windham was named as a 2nd Team All-American this season and Tanasia Blake made the Honorable Mention List.

Windham's 2nd Team All-American selection comes off an impressive season with the Big Blues. Windham averaged 18.0 points per game during the season, which placed him 13th in the USCAA at the end of the season. He also finished 14th in points scored for the season with 467. Josh was the leading scorer for the Big Blues and had a streak of 8 games scoring 20 or more points. His offensive skills will surely be missed next season.

Blake was named to the Honorable Mention Team for her outstanding performance during the 2016-2017 season. Tanasia was the "Walking Double-Double" this season averaging 14.7 points per game and 12 rebounds per game, leading the Big Blues in both categories. Blake had 15 double-double's this season and will leave Bluefield State with the most career rebounds by a player with 655.
