Cooperstown, NY- The Big Blues visited baseball's historic Hall of Fame on the way back from the USCAA Small College World Series last week to put a bright spot on what was a little bit of a disappointing end to the World Series for the Big Blues.
This was Coach Hunter's third time bringing one of his baseball teams to the Hall and he really enjoys providing the opportunity to take his players to the Hall of Fame. "A lot of my players do not get the opportunity to see Baseball's Crowning Achievement in their life time and so whenever there is an opportunity to see the Hall of Fame, I try and bring my teams here. To see the team find their idols enshrined in the Hall of Fame is a special moment and I am glad we had the opportunity to attend the Hall of Fame with this year's team."
Coach Hunter and his staff will now look to replace 4 senior starters for next year's team. Now with the taste of postseason baseball, the Big Blues will focus on returning to the USCAA National Championship and make a run at the title.
