Big Blues Dominate Apprentice

Big Blues Dominate Apprentice

February 9, 2019 was Greek Night in the Ned E. Shott gymnasium. Multiple BLGO (Black Letter Greek Organizations) traveled from across West Virginia to support the Big Blues. There were members of Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, and Omega Psi Phi in attendance. It has been a very long time since all those organizations have stepped foot on this campus. The atmosphere was amazing and those organizations put on a show for everyone but that wasn't the highlight of the day.

Korey Williams scored 40 points with ease! He missed his very first shot of the game and after that he made 9 shots in a row before he missed again. He finished the game shooting 16-21 with 6 assists and 3 steals. He was not the only one who put on a show in that game. Shawn Duhon has recently come off of an injury and has had a huge impact on the team since his return. He had a plethora of dunks which led to him having 17 points by the end of the game. Thats not all, Shawn also had 12 rebounds and 8 blocks. Last but not least the young transfer Brandon Anyanwu had a solid 10 points. Those 3 combined for 67 points, just two points shy of what Apprentice ended the game with. GO BIG BLUES!
