GOLDSBORO, N.C. - The Big Blues played in the Trojan tournament at Goldsboro, North Carolina. It was not the best performance for the players from Bluefield State who finished in the last position with a total of 693 (360 + 333 = 693).

The conditions were very difficult, since it was very cold and windy for the day. The players played 36-holes the first day and unfortunately the third round, set for Tuesday, was canceled due to impending weather.

The winner team was Newberry college with a total of 588 (304-284= 588). On the field there were 13 teams with a total of 72 Golfers.

As individuals the best performance was by Franco Di Benedetto, who shot rounds of (81 – 75 = 156) with a finish position in the 22nd place.

Overall, Cristian Galdeano had rounds of 91 and 82 with a total of 173. Taylor Dehaven shot rounds of (94-86=180), Chris Jones had rounds of (94-90= 184) and Hunter hill who shot (113-122= 235).

Next up the Big Blues will travel to Marietta Ohio, to play the OVU Mister Bee Potato Chips Intercollegiate, 13th – 14th.
