BSC Swept by KSU

Frankfort, KY- The Big Blues finished the season series against Kentucky State losing both on the road. Game 1 ended 17-0 and Game 2 was 22-1.

The defense for Bluefield State struggled committing 4 errors in game 1 and 6 in game 2. Kentucky State was able to get off 17 runs on 15 hits against Emily Day and Ashley Rasnake. BSC was able to get 2 hits in the game, both by Emily Day. The 2 hits came in the 2nd and 5th innings for day.

Game 2 was a little better offensively for Bluefield State as they were able to get 7 hits and a run. The 1 run was scored by Ashley Rasnake off a Lyndsay Hatfield single in the 3rd inning. Hatfield ended the day going 2 for 3.

The Big Blues now have Senior Day on Thursday against Salem International. 1st pitch is at 1:00 pm with the Senior Day Ceremony will take place in between games. So be sure and come out to support your seniors.
